My Journey as a CFO, by Hans Van Der Sande

 I’ve had the privilege of serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Tiger Resorts, Leisure and Entertainment Inc. (TRLEI) since 2021. For those who may not know, TRLEI owns Okada Manila, one of the largest resorts and top tourist attractions in Asia. It’s been quite an adventure managing the financial operations of such an esteemed organization!

I truly believe that my extensive experience in investment banking makes me the right fit for this role. When I stepped in as CFO, my primary goal was to stabilize our financial model and ensure that our revenue exceeded our expenditures. I took a deep dive into every facet of our finances, implementing strategies to foster growth in foreign markets.

My educational background is a strong foundation for my work. I studied at Columbia College in Colorado for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees, honing the essential financial skills that helped me secure this role. 

I’m proud to say that my leadership has contributed to the incredible growth of Okada Manila and Tiger Resorts, helping us carve out a competitive advantage in the hospitality industry.
